Djijo Studios is Karina { djijo } Dafeamekpor. Artist. Photographer. Designer. Curious being. I'm eternally fascinated by people, the relationships we have with one another and the human condition itself. Photography allows me to capture and explore these curiousities. It also gives me the chance to capture fleeting moments in time that we can look back at in years to come. A few years ago I never thought I'd be shooting weddings, however, now, I'm happy I am doing so and enjoying every moment of it. There is something about being able to create that capsule of moments from a day that marks a major milestone in two people's lives. Each wedding is different and it never gets boring. I love capturing the essence of each couple and their special day. Originally a painter and designer (still am) my photography is heavily influenced by interesting compositions, graphic black and whites, color and of course textures. Still, when photographing people, its always a question of what it is that a face conveys at that instant. Enjoy!
